Sometimes trends pop up and it makes you wonder where the hell they came from and you could say these mirrored sunglasses fall into that category. Did someone sit in the snowy alps and decide to make a worldwide trend out of their practical eye wear? Perhaps being able to see a vivid reflection in a friends glasses suddenly became a credential. Either way they work, adding statement to the most simplistic outfits with a shot of colour.

I’ve mentioned this before and it hasn’t since chanced - I seem to only ever be seen in black and/or blue. For a pretty little harbor though it seems to be appropriate none the less!

Several years ago I would have refused to wear anything leopard print, even the odd speck would have made me feel like Kat Slater from Eastenders. I bought these pumps from Clarks over a year ago but over the past month have become my go-to flats.

I may have just moved from London to the land of bakery shops, cows and no shops whatsoever but I’m not ready to chuck my heels in the bin just yet, so adding to my lack of exercise I have been sitting at my laptop trailing through the PersunMall website and making endless wishlists.

After falling in love with the pastel hues seen at Givenchy Spring/Summer 2013 I’ve had my heart set on having my very own baby blue piece and I’m pretty sure I’ve found what I have been searching for in this bag. It has also become very apparent to me that I probably own too much black, but I think I’ve made progress with these items (maybe just a little?).

So three bags and three pairs of shoes to be welcomed to my wardrobe? Yes please!

It’s no secret that I love a denim on denim ensemble and after patchwork denim was sent down the runway for 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring/Summer 2013 it’s fair to say I was straight on that train! Collaging fabrics were also seen at Erdem, Fendi, Preen and Endon Choi and whether they were sheer, printed, denim or leather it really didn’t matter! It’s all on the check list for Spring/Summer.  

 

It may just be this crazy weather we’ve been having or the talk of a holiday but I seem to be craving some of the Italian life! There’s nothing better than walking through cobbled streets with bright white houses, little restaurants and the sound of a middle aged Italian man promising his is the best pizza in town (maybe slightly cliché…).

The combination of crisp whites and blues has a lovely feel to it, whether that’s my film-like fantasy of waking up and wearing my boyfriend’s pinstripe shirt while having a fresh fruit breakfast on the balcony I don’t know, but adding a shade of blue to a crisp white outfit makes it look so fresh and clean.

Sometimes/often I get drawn in to buying an expensive pair of shoes that quite frankly I don’t really need, but when I manage to find the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans to go with them for just £8 I feel I have a new justification!
